Sea Mills Park see off the Roman challenge
PROMOTED Sea Mills Park took a three-point lead in the Senior Division after winning 2-1 in their top-of-the-table battle at Roman Glass St George A. Luke Butt netted for the Saints in reply to goals from substitute Scott Chancellor and John Watkins.
Warmley Saints came from behind to beat Hallen A 4-1, thanks to Sam Andrews (2), Adam O'Brien and substitute Ollie Webb, while Longwell Green A went down 4-0 to strikes by Chris Williams (2), Lee Bowden and Steve Newell for Bristol Barcelona.
A 4-1 home victory over Iron Acton maintained the 100 per cent record of Wick Reserves, who netted through Chris Strawford, Ty Ballard, Joe Thomas and Tom O'Brien.
Struggling Hanham Reserves crashed 5-1 at Stockwood Wanderers, whose tally was shared by Ashley Rowe (3) and Ricky Brumpton (2) in the clash of two teams near the foot of the table.

Mendip Reserves lost their 100 per cent record in Division I after crashing 8-1 at home to Portville Warriors, whose marksmen were Ashley Tweedy (4), Van Papanioniou (3) and Sam Jones (penalty). Ben Thatcher netted a consolation for shell-shocked Mendip.

A 0-0 draw at home to Hartcliffe ended the 100 per cent record for Division II leaders Totterdown Reserves, so Soundwell Victoria closed the gap with a 4-2 victory at Bendix. Shaun White and Robbie Underwood were on target for the hosts, who were sunk by doubles from Dean Walker and Matthew Steadman, while Mitch Perkins netted a consolation in Coalpit Heath's 9-1 drubbing by Lebeq Reserves.
Aaron Betteridge scored four for Winterbourne A, whose other marksmen were Shaun Nicholls (2) and Alex Hill in the 7-1 beating of Fry Club A, while Iron Acton went down 3-1 away to DRG Frenchay Reserves, for whom Marcus Ashley, Alex Graham and Paul Madalkin found the net.
Roman Glass St George B continue to set the pace in Division III following a 2-1 victory at Frampton Reserves, for whom Chris Harris replied to goals from Jamie Baker and Mitch Ridd.
A 4-2 home win against AEK Boco A kept Greyfriars Reserves in the hunt for honours, with Meyo Mirachi, Andrew Forshaw, Dave White and Ryan Mills the marksmen.
Unbeaten Real Thornbury triumphed by the same score at home to AEK Boco A through Mike Barton, Sam Taylor, Andy Rice and Joe Holehurst, while Yate also joined the pacesetters with a 6-1 home thrashing of Bristol Barcelona Reserves, for whom Troy Baker netted a consolation in reply to goals from Lee Robinson (4), Richard Garrett and Richard Gardiner.
Ashley Hawkins, Matt Attewell and Sam Casey were among the scorers for Hambrook Reserves, 6-2 victors at home to Henbury A, while John Burden and Jamie May hit back for Horfield United in a 5-2 reverse at home to Cribbs Friends Life A.
