CHILDREN, parents and carers in Keynsham have struck the first notes in a scrap orchestra initiative.
Wansdyke Play Association is encouraging people in North East Somerset to get involved in the project, which will involve performances over Easter.

It began during this half-term week with a session at St Francis Church, Keynsham, when people created instruments out of junk materials.
Other sessions are being held at venues including Radstock and Midsomer Norton
Andrew Gillan, from Wansdyke Play Association, said: "We experimented with lots of things. We made wind instruments out of piping, and lots of interesting drums. The children came up with plenty of ideas.
"We are trying to get as many people as possible in the community to come up with playful opportunities for children.
"We also want people to get involved in helping design our Easter event."
