In their report, the inspectors praised the school for its teaching, which they said was good overall and sometimes outstanding. Pupils enjoyed learning, the inspectors noted, with most lessons fast-paced and lively.

The report added that head teacher Andy Mead had a clear view of how successful the school could be and expected the best from his pupils and staff.
