“The Lord Mayor position is ceremonial, currenty we have one, its my ward Cllr Peter Main. the is about an elected Mayor for the City so why do people still get this wrong?”

“Whilst some of the questions are interesting and might give some information the transport question is daft.
Some candidates have put forwrd the model of the council running the services (do not agree with it but it is a clear option)
At least 1 is saying that there should be council control of routes and fares (not just on BRT)
And some have said they will try to do better with the present powers .
Those are 3 clear and distinctive choices.
So why ask the question in such a manner that peoples views will be mangled.
On the mayors pay as an example there is a suitable range of choices.”
