The world-renowned attraction is one of ten regional museums and schools partnerships Arts Council England will awarded money to until 2015, in the Museums and Schools Programme.

The ss Great Britain Trust and the Science Museum in London will collaborate to work with pupils moving between primary and secondary schools. Walking workshops onboard ship will be a key feature and resources will include self-led activities and online educational games.
