He went to Teyfant Primary School before attending secondary school in Hartcliffe.

During his teenage years, Ryan was a talented motocross rider and his dad would take him all over the country to race for Bristol Spartans.

He also enjoyed having a kick-about with his mates and turned out for Hareclive Pumas in his younger days.

Hayley, who accepted Ryan's marriage proposal on New Year's Eve, said: "Words cannot come close to describing how much Ryan meant to me. He was such a big part of my life and made the last nine years the happiest time of my life. I will never forget him and I will love him forever."

Ryan also leaves brothers Daniel, 23, and Jordan, 17; nephews Kyle and Dylan; and grandparents Marg, Merv, Celia and Clive.

Paying tribute, his family said: "Ryan was always smiling. He was always there for his many friends and family and would have been the best dad ever.

"He was the life and soul of every party, always up for a laugh and would do anything to make people happy."

Ryan, of Hawkfield Road, Hartcliffe, died on New Year's Day in a car crash on Queen's Road, Bishops- worth.

His funeral will be held at 2.30pm on Friday, January 18, at South Bristol Crematorium. The wake will be at the Dolman Stand at Ashton Gate, which Bristol City FC have provided for free.

The family request no black and white to be worn and immediate family flowers only. Donations to support Hayley and Ryley are welcome on the day, or can be sent to Co-operative funeralcare, 21 Highridge Road, Bishopsworth, BS13 8HJ.
