FORMER England rugby player Mark Regan is helping Bristol singer John Billitteri train for a Help for Heroes bike ride.

Mr Billitteri, 54, is raising money for the ex-serviceman charity by taking part in the charity's 2013 Hero Ride from Bristol to London.

He has previously raised £44,000 for Help for Heroes, after taking up the cause when his daughter Marisa was a contestant on TV talent show The X Factor in 2008.

She sang on a number one single for the cause and since then Mr Billitteri has hosted and performed in dozens of fundraising gigs across the city under his stage name Frankie Johns.
