Royal opening for Cots for Tots suite
A NEW suite of cots for sick and premature babies in the city is set to be given the royal seal of approval.
The extra intensive care cots and home from home for families of babies cared for at St Michael's Hospital will be officially opened by the Countess of Wessex tomorrow.
Cots for Tots House and the suite of cots were funded through a £1 million appeal supported by people across Bristol.
Her Royal Highness will take a tour of the new intensive care suite and the family accommodation funded by the Cots for Tots Appeal. She will also meet some of the families who have benefited from the lifesaving care at the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
