Rovers lost the defensive intensity, says Trollope
Paul Trollope believes Bristol Rovers paid the price for a lack of intensity in their defending as Huddersfield Town pulled off a come-from-behind 2-1 win at the Memorial Stadium.
The Pirates had targeted a victory that would have pushed them into the top 10 in League One – and looked on course when Jo Kuffour fired them into the lead early in the second half.

But Anthony Pilkington scored the Terriers' leveller and then set up a winner for Danny Cadamarteri to leave Trollope's side in 14th place.
"I sensed we needed a second goal tonight and it wouldn't come," said Trollope.
"We played some decent stuff after we went ahead and went for a second goal. We had chances but couldn't take them.
"A couple of bits of poor defending helped them get a leveller and then a winner.
"We didn't have the defensive intensity we had in recent weeks and got done on the counter-attack a couple of times.
"For their first goal we were too deep and their lad ran 30 yards across our pitch without a challenge.
"But we have to give credit to Huddersfield because they made it very difficult with the way they set up against us.
"We'd taken some strides forward recently and this would have been another. We could have gone 10th but we've missed out.
"We're now 14th although we still have a game in hand on teams above us and believe we can finish in the top half."
Rovers now prepare for Sunday's trip to Tranmere Rovers and hope to have wingers David Pipe and Jeff Hughes back in contention.
Hughes was an unused substitute last night and Trollope said: "Jeff's hand is fractured but doesn't need pinning so he can continue to train and play.
Pipey is getting better so we are expecting both of them to train on Thursday."
