Rose wants Somerset to focus on their own game ahead of title-deciding weekend
Somerset have been urged to concentrate on their own game when the Pro40 season reaches its climax at Taunton tomorrow.
The second-placed Sabres will win the title for the first time in 30 years if they beat Durham and leaders Sussex lose at Worcestershire.

Director of cricket Brian Rose was captain of Somerset CCC in 1979 when he led the likes of Ian Botham, Viv Richards and Joel Garner to glory.
And he recalled that success came about when Somerset were far from favourites.
"I have been in that particular situation myself in 1979 when we played the Gillette Cup Final on the Saturday and we rocked up at Trent Bridge the next day not expecting to win the Sunday League, because we were behind and Kent and Middlesex would have won it if either of them had won," he said.
But it was Somerset who were lifting the trophy by that evening as all results went their way.
"As it happened they both lost and I was imparting that experience to the boys the other day," he said. "The pressure is not really on Somerset, it is on Sussex."
Indeed Sussex have had a nightmare week as they were relegated from Division One of the County Championship on Thursday afternoon.
"We have had a relaxed week," added Rose. "The boys have worked really hard this summer. We have been in a great position in the County Championship. We have been effective but not quite won anything, but you never know what is going to happen in cricket."
Vice-captain Marcus Trescothick said: "We have been preparing pretty intensely. There is not just the Sunday game because we have got the India Champions League trip as well.
"It is a massive game in the context of the season considering how close we have been in other competitions."
A big crowd is expected for Justin Langer's final home match as captain before he returns to Australia prior to the trip to India.
However, Somerset CCC will be without fast bowler Mark Turner for the rest of the season as he has a stress fracture of the back.
Steffan Jones could take his place for the trip to India.
Rose said: "It is very unfortunate because it means he is not going to be able to go to India. We can replace him in our squad and we are talking to Steffan Jones about that."
Meanwhile, Somerset have offered out of contract leg-spinner Michael Munday a new deal, which he is considering.
Somerset CCC(from): Trescothick, Kieswetter, Langer, Hildreth, de Bruyn, Trego, Suppiah, Phillips, Thomas, Waller, Willoughby, Durston, Banks, Buttler.
