● Holly Rush has confirmed she will be running the Frankfurt marathon at the end of October.
The 31-year-old Team Bath AC international runner has just returned from a week's break after a disappointing run in the Bristol half-marathon.
She is determined to put that behind her and focus her attention on the Frankfurt event, which will be her third marathon this year.
"I have not done the race before but it was the best one for me to ensure I had a proper long break after the two marathons (Hamburg in 2hrs 38mins 36secs and Edinburgh in 2:41.38) in the spring," said Rush.
Rush finished ninth at Bristol in a time of 75mins 20secs, less than a minute outside her personal best but not as good as she had hoped for.
