Bath City have welcomed midfielder Scott Rogers back to the club as they look to step up their play-off push.

The former Exeter and Forest Green man has returned from a two-month loan spell at Conference South rivals Newport County.

Rogers' return is timely as Mark Badman is unavailable for the next fortnight. More immediately, the Romans must target two home wins in the space of four days.

They welcome play-off rivals Hampton and Richmond to north Somerset today before a derby with Weston-super-Mare on Tuesday night.

Edwards, Gilroy, Douglas, Rogers, S Jones, Slocombe.

Team Bath face a real six-pointer when they travel to Maidenhead United.

Today's hosts occupy the final play-off spot so the Scholars cannot afford to lose for a third game running.

The university-based side looked to have grabbed a point from both of their last two fixtures – against Basingstoke and Bishop's Stortford – only to concede late on and lose.

Centre-half and captain Gary Warren has still not returned after an ankle injury.

Matt Lock, normally a right back, has filled in at centre back of late. He too has an ankle worry but should be fit.

Ben Thomson (hamstring) is out and will also miss Monday's trip to Chelmsford City.

Team Bath (from): Meredith, Townley, Lock, El-Abd, Lake, Perrott, Canham, Thorne, Ake, Benison, Llewellyn, Cooper, Caton, Piotrowski, Hobbs, Smith, Hines, Warren, Dillon.

Weston-super-Mare manager Andy Gurney will be looking for his side to turn the chances they create into goals in their home clash against mid-table Braintree Town.

Especially after the disappointment of a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of bottom-of-the-table Bognor Regis in their last game.

Striker Scott Partridge, who missed the Bognor Regis game with a knee injury, has not recovered and is likely to be out for at least another couple of weeks.

Weston are also missing midfielders Ashan Holgate (ankle) and Mark McKeever (knee).

Weston-super-Mare(from): Northmore, Green, Parinello, Harris, Rand, Comyn-Platt, Wells, Mullings. McGregor, Williams, Compton, Dean Grubb, Dayle Grubb., Brown, Thome, Willshire.

Dorchester Town travel to the Camrose (kick-off 3pm) to face third-bottom Basingstoke Town.

The Magpies have again been busy in the transfer market with the contract of top scorer Ryan Moss being cancelled by mutual consent this week.

Dorchester have also recruited to their ranks 18-year-old winger Richard Whittingham from AFC Bournemouth and 19-year-old Daniel Reeve from Newport Isle of Wight.

Last week, Dorchester were narrowly pipped by a strong Chelmsford City.

They welcome back Danny Clay from suspension for this afternoon's match.

Dorchester (from): Stewart, Coward, Jermyn, Smeeton, Clay, Bowles, Hill, Crippenden, Hutchings, Gleeson, Clarke, Nicholson, Watts, Reeve, Whittingham, Johnson, Kelloway, Taylor, Critchall.
