Robinson takes title at Minchinhampton
MaxRobinson (Shirehampton Park), who plays off six, won Gloucestershire's low (under 12 handicap) championship with a net 70 at Minchinhampton and will represent the county in the EGU Gold Medal Finals on August 15-16 at Woodhall Spa.
He also won a place in the Single Figure Golfer qualifier with a chance to play in the 10-man team captained by Peter McEvoy against former Ryder Cup stars over the 2010 course at Celtic Manor in October.
Aaron Banks (Rodway Hill) carded net 66 to win the category high handicap medal.
