Bridgwater Town 3 Hamworthy United 1: Bridgwater's joint-manager Leigh Robinson described his side's display in this FA Cup first qualifying round tie as "thoroughly professional."

He said afterwards: "The lads had a job to do and they went out there and did it. You can't ask any more than that.

"We've had a tricky start to the season and we've got some difficult games out of the way."

Bridgwater took the lead in the 18th minute when Nat Pepperell scored direct from a corner. But the Siddenham Wessex League side equalised five minutes later when Dave Cannie scored after Bridgwater had given away possession.

With Hamworthy reduced to 10 men following a sending-off, Bridgwater hit back to win with goals by Jamie Price and Craig Thomas.
