Robbery at Bristol takeaway
Police are appealing for information after a man robbed a fast-food outlet in Filton.
The man, who was white and between 25 and 30, grabbed a member of staff and demanded money from the till of the takeaway in Gloucester Road North.
He made off with a small amount of cash, and rode off on a maroon racing bike towards the Shield retail park.
The robbery happened at 5.45pm on Tuesday.
The man is described as having a slim build, with pale skin and a dark scar or blemish on his right cheek. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black hoodie, black trousers and black slip-on shoes.
The bike is thought to be a Raleigh, with yellow lettering on the crossbar.
Police want to speak to a customer who left the shop as the incident took place. Witnesses should contact Staple Hill CID on 0845 456 7000, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“Congratulations - two postings and already the name calling, mud slinging and 'I know/spell better than' you has begun.
BEP employ someone to vet postings before people with common sense know for certain that the comments section is a joke, and a bad one at that.”

“It might be rather more useful if the takeaway that was robbed was actually named. How are any potential witnesses supposed to remember anything if they aren't told exactly which takeaway this happened in?”
