Ricketts and Helps terrorise Frampton rivals
FRENCHAY duo Jordan Ricketts and Ben Helps tore through Frampton Cotterell's batting line-up, helping dismiss them for 46 in their Under-17 League Section B game.
Ricketts took 4-12 from his four overs, while Helps finished with figures of 3-9 from his four as Frampton Cotterell slumped to their low tally.
Frenchay eventually won by eight wickets in one of the few under-17 league matches to be completed over the weekend due to the weather.
Elsewhere, Hanham were nine-run winners over Carsons/Mangotsfield, while Chipping Sodbury posted 113 en route to beating Gloucester City Winget by 22 runs in the second round of the South West Glass Under-17 Knockout Cup.

In the same competition, Bristol YMCA enjoyed a 57-run victory over Claverham.
Batting first, YMCA scored 158-3, with Bobby Naeem hitting 64 and Jon Roper unbeaten on 58. Claverham were all out for 101 in their reply, with YMCA's Tom Bartley bowling impressively to finish with figures of 3-10, which included a hat-trick.
In Section A of the Under-15 League, Rockhampton's Rob Smart took 5-13 from four overs as his side beat Hambrook by three wickets.
In Section B, Thornbury Blue scored 113-4 and then dismissed Pucklechurch for 73 to win by 40 runs.
There were some outstanding bowling displays in the Urban Windows Under-15 Knockout Cup clash between Frenchay B and eventual victors Pak Bristolians.
Frenchay limited Pak Bristolians to 91, despite 27 from Bilal Raja, with Sohail Farooq taking 4-18 and Aran Matharu 2-20.
But Frenchay, for whom Will Stabb top-scored with 25, were dismissed for 62. All-rounder Bilal Raja took 3-5 from three overs, Harpreet Klair 3-6 from two and Ishtiaq Ishaq 3-10 from 3.5.
Bishopston beat Knowle by two runs in a tense Harry Secombe Under-15 National Cup Group Final.
Bishopston, with J Cook scoring 40 and Knowle's L O'Hara taking 4-13, reached 96-4, before Knowle were restricted to 94-8.
