Richard Yorath hit four goals as Bitton Under-10s produced another top-notch performance to sweep to a 9-0 aggregate Division A victory over St Nicholas.

They started the first game well, Ben Snell opening the scoring with a well-taken finish. Saints defended valiantly but, just before half-time, George Neill netted a second goal for Bitton.

The second half continued with the hosts in full control and Louis Gordon wrapped up a 3-0 win with a super effort.

Bitton took an early lead in game two through Harvey World and, as the pressure continued, Yorath grabbed a hat-trick before the break.

Saints defended strongly in the second half but they were no match for Bitton as further strikes from World and Yorath, his fourth of the game, saw them to a 6-0 victory.

Bristol Rovers JFC inflicted Stoke Lane's first defeat of the Division A season with a hard-fought 1-0 victory, which maintained their 100 per cent start to the campaign.

In very windy conditions, the first game saw both sides create chances and strike the woodwork. The Stoke Lane goalkeeper was in excellent form and pulled off several important saves, but the deadlock was broken in the 22nd minute when Rovers' Ricky Kirby scored what turned out to be the only goal from close range.

The second encounter saw both sides battle hard but, despite enjoying most of the play, Rovers were unable to break down a very strong Lane defence which was again backed up by a finegoalkeeping display.

In Division B, Hallen cruised to a 7-0 aggregate victory over Fry Colts.

Hallen took the lead when Corey Cotterill threaded a delightful ball through for Edward Wilson to fire home.

It took some great saves from Callum Baber to ensure Hallen went into the interval with their lead intact, but they took control of the second period.

Cotterill smashed in their second goal when the Fry's keeper could only parry Cameron Dyte's shot.

Hallen made it 3-0 when Cotterill fed Dyte to finish well, before Wilson crossed for Dyte to head the fourth.

The fifth and best goal of the game came when Abraham Fullbrook's strong run and cross found Dyte in space to make it 5-0 with a bullet header and complete a fine hat-trick.

Hallen were dealt a blow before the second game, with keeper Darrel Smith unable to play through illness. Captain and defender Dan Wass was forced to go in goal and he responded by making some neat saves as his team went on to win 2-0. Tate Brooker set up Robbie Parker for the first before Parker crossed for Callum Berry to complete the scoring.

A superb strike from Jack Brice gave Downend Saints a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Ashton Boys B.

The goal came in the first match, Brice latching on to Harry Padfield's long clearance and firing home just before half-time.

Brice came close to extending the lead in the second half but, after being played in following great work from Ben Wheaton and Luke Patel, he was brilliantly denied by the Ashton keeper.

Saints dominated for long spells in game two, with Santana Schooler having two tremendous efforts turned away for corners and Karl Bessell crashing a trademark free-kick against the crossbar.

With Saints unable to add to their lead, a spirited Ashton side were always in with a chance and only a brilliant last-ditch tackle from Joseph Porter denied them an aggregate equaliser.

Henbury Colts overcame windy conditions, driving rain and tough opponents in Winterbourne United to maintain their 100 per cent Division C record with a 4-2 win.

The first game ended 2-2, with Brandon Woods bagging a brace for Henbury and accomplished defending from man-of-the-match Ryan Daley providing a solid platform for them to take into the second game.

It took two late goals from star man Lewis O'Faherty, and good defending by Ellis Morris, to earn them a 2-0 win which maintains their place at the top of the table.

In the same division, Bradley Stoke United A continued their smashing start to the season with a 6-2 home victory over Thornbury Falcons.

The first game was a tight affair, with Bradley Stoke taking the lead through Kieran Clayton. Thornbury deservedly equalised, only for Enzo Steenkamp to snatch the winner for Bradley Stoke just before the final whistle.

Game two was also well contested, with Bradley Stoke taking the lead through striker Luis Hares. Declan Mannion grabbed a second before Thornbury pulled one back.

With Bradley Stoke pressing hard towards the end, however, Luis Hares got his second of the match and then laid a ball into the path of Aidan Burt to score a deserved goal and seal a 4-1 win for his side.

Longwell Green A turned in a superb team performance to beat Downend Boys 7-3 in Division C.

Longwell dominated game one with Dan Tancock, deputising in defence, enjoying a superb game and George Honeywell blocking everything in front of the back four.

Nathan Dolan worked hard on the left wing, setting up several chances, while Kyle Roberts was his usual handful.

Goals from Reece Dimond, Tom Frankcom – a 30-yard drive – and Joe Harding (2) saw Longwell to a 4-1 victory, a fabulous save by keeper Jamie Griffin ensuring spirited Downend no more joy than their superb free-kick consolation.

Two poacher's strikes from Dan Chivers and a Tomas Stanislovaitis thunderbolt helped ease Longwell to a 3-2 second-game success. George White again played strongly in defence, together with Ewan Dineen, while goalkeeper Tom Chabowski made two great saves.

Matt Pope battled hard down the right, Sam Williams saw two shots saved and Ben Bielecki added flashes of skill before Downend hit back with two late goals.

Bristol Spartak's day began frustratingly when they were only able to raise 12 players for their Division C fixture against AEK Boco – but they dug deep to pull off a 9-2 aggregate victory.

The first game was closely-fought early on, with Spartak keeper Zac George pulling off a string of fine saves and Mason Hartrey and Mason McKechnie defending well. But Spartak turned up the pressure after the break, Seamus Brinkman netting a hat-trick to clinch a 3-1 win.

The second game started well for Spartak, with John Brown scoring after just nine seconds.

Boco were then awarded a penalty, which was saved by Kyran Gitsham, who went on to make numerous other fine stops.

Once the goals started to flow there was no holding Spartak. Robbie Tripp-Edwards fired a hat-trick and was joined on the scoresheet by Connor Nimmo and Brown before Boco pulled one back.

Whitchurch Sports roared to a 17-3 victory against bottom-of-the-table St Nicholas B.

Billy Rice-Hanlon hit a hat-trick and Devon Walsh and Sid Ricketts both scored twice as Whitchurch won the first match 7-2.

Jay Selway and jamie Hicks helped themselves to four goals each in a one-sided second game, which ended 10-1. Matty Legg , with his first goal for the club, and debut boy Cameron Francis were Whitchurch's other scorers.

To their credit, Saints battled to the end and they would have scored more goals over the two games but for some smart work by the Whitchurch keepers.

Longwell Green B claimed victory over Nicholas Wanderers Colts by a solitary goal over two close Division D contests.

Longwell had the best of a goalless opening encounter, with Tyler Vidaurri hitting the crossbar and James Ireland and Caleb Goode showing up well at the back.

Archie Rawlings made some fine saves, Josh Rogers marshalled his midfield admirably, while Joe Brodie, Alex Manning and Jack Stewart were all involved in threatening breaks.

Game two was just as tight but again Longwell had the better of it, with Algirdas Urbonas unbeatable in the tackle and keeper Chris Sands enjoying a solid game.

The crucial goal came courtesy of Liam Harper's well-struck finish and his team went close to increasing their lead through Josh Ford, Finn Heslop and Cameron Mills, who was lively throughout.

Lewis Czugalinski used his pace to good effect while Ben Harris produced several solid tackles in the 1-0 win.
