Revenge is sweet for Whitchurch
Hanham Minor League Under-11s: Whitchurch Sports A avenged their defeat to Bristol Rovers SC earlier in the season with a 2-1 Division B victory.
Callum Wright scored the first goal after 10 minutes, smashing a 25-yard free-kick over the keeper's head.
Chris French got the second with a back-post volley from a Wright corner to put daylight between the sides before the break.
The second half was much tighter, with Rovers pulling a goal back five minutes from time, but it proved too little too late as Whitchurch held on with a disciplined display.
Two goals from Connor Brealey helped Bradley Stoke Youth to a 4-1 home victory over Bristol Olympic.
Louis Welsman and Jack Cook were also on target for Bradley Stoke, while Luke Garraway was their man-of-the-match.
Harry Webb netted a debut goal for Yate Rangers as they eventually overcame a stubborn Fry Club Colts team who had lost heavily the previous week.
Yate took the lead when the Fry's keeper could only palm away a Harry Wren corner and Webb was on hand to head the ball home.
Fry's kept battling and they were rewarded with a goal just before half-time, then snatched the lead 15 minutes into the second half following some poor Yate defending.
But the hosts rallied and a quick throw from Joe Wood sent Dan Burton through to make it 2-2.
Ashley Drew set up Nick Thomas to give Yate the lead before Burton rounded the keeper to make it 4-2.
