Glastonbury's Mystic and Earth Spirit Fayre this weekend goes live with Glastonbury International Radio, the internet station based in the town, and the station's boss, Ross Hemsworth will be there on Sunday to report on his visit a few weeks ago to the world's biggest UFO conference in Nevada, USA.

With UFO sightings very much on the increase as we approach 2012, the "end-time" of the prophetic Mayan calendar, Ross will be presenting "real evidence" of extra-terrestrial activity around the world, and ask if we are being told the truth by our governments.

Tomorrow afternoon, Graham Harcus, aka Jazzy Gee, landlord of Glastonbury's George and Pilgrim pub, who presents a weekly music programme on Glastonbury Radio, will be webcasting live from the Assembly Rooms.

Among his special guests, I hear, could be former Radio 1 DJs, Paul Burnett, who now has a show on Glastonbury Radio, and Mike Reid, and there'll also be live acoustic music from some local entertainers.

Other speakers at the fair include clairvoyant Julie Cooke, aka Ravenstar, of Bath, mystic Mark Lepus, from Exeter, and artist and author Yuri Leitch, of Glastonbury.

Angie Smith and Dr Elizabeth Ann Diamond, both from Weston-super-Mare, will be talking, respectively, about he human aura and astral travelling, and Peter Woods, of Glastonbury, will be explaining magical symbolism.

Admission to the monthly fair, with all the usual stalls and readers, is only £1, or £5 to include one day's talks and workshops, and £9 for them over the whole weekend. For more information, visit www.glastonburyfayres.co.uk
