AT THE far end of Christ Church Close in Nailsea, by the roundabout, whenever there's heavy rain the road becomes a small lake. Drivers have to go through water at least six inches deep. The only ones to enjoy this accumulation of water are small children who can paddle in same if they have on the appropriate footwear.

The problem has been ongoing for a considerable time, one would have thought that North Somerset Council would have rectified this situation as it seems to spend a large amount of our money on less-needed road works.

“I would have expected the hack who gave title to this letter to understand the difference between regular and frequent.”
