More of the same: Reading reserves hit Bristol City at Ashton Gate
Reading Reserves beat their Bristol City counterparts 4-1 in a Combination Cup group match at Ashton Gate on Tuesday night.
The result matched the 4-1 win achieved by the Royals' first team against City in the Championship last Saturday.
USA international Bobby Convey and David Mooney put the visitors 2-0 up at half time before Michail Antonio and James Henry sealed victory after the break.
Reading's Brynjar Gunnarsson scored an own goal on the hour mark.
City midfielder Cole Skuse was taken off by stretcher in the first half after a collision but was later found to have suffered only bruising.
