RAF's Central Band land at Bristol's Colston Hall
Looking immaculate in their dress uniforms, the finest musicians in the Royal Air Force brought pomp and ceremony to the Colston Hall in the first official RAF concert to be held in the city.
The hall resounded with the spectacular music of the RAF's Central Band, which played in Bristol as part of its annual tour.
Last night's concert was compered by Dad's Army star Ian Lavender, famous for his role as Private Pike.
The appearance in Bristol was added to the tour schedule to make it easier for RAF supporters in the region to attend.
Concert tour manager Philippa Hayday-Brown said: "This is the closest to RAF Fairford the concert tour has ever been, so we hope air enthusiasts have enjoyed world-class entertainment and showed their support for the Royal Air Force and Charitable Trust."
