Lauren Vincent, fundraising manager, said: "The Gromits come with an educational pack which includes animation and art work.
"It's cross-curricular, going across every single subject, so children will not only have fun decorating Gromit they are learning as well. It is very beneficial all-round.
"We are also encouraging the schools to do further fundraising as well, doing cake sales and sponsored events or making a donation in exchange for their thumb-print or star on their Gromit."
