Pupils have a healthy week
PUPILS at Perry Court Junior School in Hengrove really got their teeth into healthy living during a week of activities.
The school focused on nourishing food, tasting healthy snack and making fruit kebabs and milkshakes.
A team from the Better Food Company in St Werburgh's visited and showed the children how to make mayonnaise to serve with organic, locally grown salad.
Pupils also took part in a range of sporting activities. Year 6 children took part in a sports festival in Whitchurch and Year 5 a rugby tournament, while Year 4 gave a performance with a healthy living theme.
