AFRICAN rhythms have been resounding around Blaise Primary School in north Bristol as part of an arts week.

Musician Alphonse Touna visited the school in Clavell Road, Henbury, to work with the pupils.

The children then enjoyed visits from an African story teller and an artist. Pupils have also worked with a mosaic artist to create a school mural which is due to go up soon.
