Bristol pupils draw on their artistic skills
Budding Banksys from the Merchants Academy in Withywood are launching their own exhibition of street art at the Royal West of England Academy in Clifton.
The pupils' work will be on display at the RWA until August 3. The youngsters visited the recent Crimes of Passion: Street Art in Bristol exhibition at the gallery. They then worked with street artist Felix Braun and illustrator Andy Council.

During their workshops, which ran over six weeks, students learned a variety of techniques, including working with lettering design, spray cans and stencilling.
Rob Townley, head of fine art at the school, said: "This exhibition is the result of much hard work by the pupils. The workshops have given the students confidence."'
Both the RWA's Crimes of Passion exhibition held earlier this year and the Bristol Vs Banksy exhibition at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery have seen record-breaking crowds queuing to see Bristol's talent.
The pupils' exhibition at the RWA is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and on Sundays, 2pm to 5pm.
