Protect our views, says MP
WESTON-super-Mare MP John Penrose has called for better protection of city views. The former tourism and heritage minister believes favourite urban views should be protected by English Heritage in the same way as buildings. Mr Penrose said the current system can be confusing, preventing derelict areas from being regenerated, adding that a system was needed to ensure greater clarity as to where property developers can build.
