Professor Ashley blom is a man whose work deserves recognition
I WAS pleased to read Prof Ashley Blom come out and allay fears that many people must have experienced in the past few months.
I for one had a ceramic hip replacement and Professor Blom was my surgeon and through our paper I would like to publicly thank the man.
He was both professional and very supportive and made my hip replacement operation a very easy experience. He has transformed and improved both my walking and quality of life.
I took part in the APEX research project through Bristol University and await the results which will not be for some years yet. But in the meantime, if any man deserves recognition, this man does.
