Prisoner who absconded from Leyhill arrested by police
A prisoner who absconded from Leyhill Prison has been arrested by police.
Stephen Rees, who was serving a sentence for wounding went missing from the prison near Thornbury on January 30. Liam Ahearne, who was in prison for aggravated burglary absconded at the same time but has not been found.

Rees, 31, was arrested in Gwent on Friday and remains in police custody.
Avon and Somerset police are appealing for anyone who knows the whereabouts of Ahearne, 24, to contact them on 999.
