Princess Royal to open new Bristol school
Princess Anne will be opening Bristol's newest school complex, the Bridge Learning Campus, next month.
During her visit on October 12 she will be shown around the different elements that make up the city's first all-age campus offering education and training from three years up to 19.

Princess Anne will open Bristol's newest school
The campus at Hartcliffe has nearly 1,700 places and is made up of a 'family' of schools, with a primary school incorporating a nursery, a secondary school, student support centre, special school and a vocational training centre.
In an hour-long tour the Princess will meet toddlers in the 45-place nursery, see the 420-place primary school and view state-of-the art facilities in the 845-place secondary school.
In New Fosseway Special School, she will watch students preparing lunch, visit the sensory garden and see the hydrotherapy pool in use. The rest of the campus opened its doors earlier this year but the 100-place New Fosseway moved into its new building this month.
The Princess will also visit the student support centre and tour the 200-place vocational Bridge College Centre. The visit will conclude with her unveiling a plaque marking the opening.
Mark Davies, chief executive of the Bridge Learning Campus, said: "We are absolutely thrilled that the Princess Royal is helping us to mark our official launch. The campus is flourishing and everyone is so positive about the future and what we are going to do here."
The Bridge Learning Campus is the country's first all-age school to be run by a trust, comprising City of Bristol College, the University of the West of England and Bristol City Council.
It is the fourth new school to be completed by Bristol Local Education Partnership under the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.
