Prince's Trust makeover for Bristol homeless centre
A centre for homeless young people has been given a makeover by a team from the Prince's Trust.
Safeplace on Victoria Street is somewhere that 16- to 19-year-olds who have recently been made homeless can get support and guidance.

The aim is to minimise the impact of homelessness and ensure the young people remain in education or employment.
A team of 12 students from a Prince's Trust scheme at City of Bristol College, themselves identified as vulnerable young people, spent two weeks at Safeplace - above Starbucks next to Bristol Bridge - giving it a lick of paint.
Josh Cubie, 17, from Staple Hill, was one of them. He said he and the team chose to help Safeplace because of the work it did with young people. The team raised £200 for the project and acquired donations of paint worth £300. They painted three rooms at Safeplace, built a cabinet for emergency bedding and bought a toaster.
Safeplace coordinator Jo Morrell said that the team have made a real difference to the centre, which since opening in February has helped more than 150 young people.
