PAULTON ROVERS 1 BRIDGEWATER TOWN 1: Paulton Rovers defender Ollie Price gave away the penalty which gave visiting Bridgwater a 75th-minute lead, but he redeemed himself in injury-time with a headed equaliser.

Chris Lane came back into the Paulton side after completing a three-match suspension, but they were without recent signing defender John Lock, who was unavailable due to work commitments.

Early pressure came from Bridgwater, who had the advantage of a strong wind, but Paulton's Rob Cousins had a powerful drive cleared off the line.

A couple of minutes later, Bridgwater hit back when Natt Pepperall broke clear but his cross sailed over the unmarked Chris Young.

The visitors wasted a good chance in the 34th minute when Nat Pepperall crossed to the unmarked Chris Young, who fired straight at keeper Kyle Phillips.

Paulton then forced a corner which was only cleared to Dan Cleverley but he was off balance and his shot failed to hit the target.

For the second half, Paulton made a change up front with Matt Cooper replacing Joe White, also midfielder Charlie Rich came on for Cousins.

Bridgwater took the lead through Pepperall's penalty kick, after Young had been brought down by Price.

In the 85th minute, it needed a save from Phillips to deny Graham Mercieca.

In injury-time, Paulton grabbed the equaliser when a Rich corner was headed in by Price. This led to Bridgwater keeper Tom Manley being red-carded for dissent.
