All things Easton will be celebrated at this year's Stapleton Road Street Fair in October.

The event is organised by Love Easton, a group which aims to promote local pride in Easton and Lawrence Hill.

This year the street fair is set to take place on Saturday, October 3.

Stapleton Road will close to traffic from Clifton Place to Trinity Road from noon until 6pm for street art, markets, music and live performances.

Love Easton has organised three free one-day themed events on Stapleton Road since 2004, which was once branded "the most dangerous street in Britain".

As part of the run-up to the street fair, local people will be busy tidying up the neighbourhood with a community litter pick.

Organiser Dina Ntziora said: "This year we will be putting on family entertainment, workshops, activities, stalls and live music.

"We had such a successful event last year and we're hoping you can help us make this year's party even better.

"If you would like to take part and perform at this year's event, or if you would like to volunteer for the day, have stall or run a workshop please contact us at Dina.Ntziora@bristol.gov.uk or on 0117 922 4651."
