Portishead residents can voice concerns to police
Residents in Portishead are being given the chance to have their say on issues which concern them in the town.
A Partners and Communities Together meeting is being held at the Waitrose café, Harbour Road, on April 21 from 6.30-8pm.
Organisations such as Neighbourhood Watch and the youth club have been invited.
Representatives from the police, housing, and North Somerset Council will be at the meeting.
Organisers say they hope all sections of the community will come and have their say.
The launch of Police and Community Together meetings is an initiative driven by the police.
The meetings give residents the chance to influence what happens in their neighbourhood.
Issues identified at meetings are then discussed at a police and community partnership panel, where courses of action to tackle problems are agreed.
Portishead councillor Reyna Knight, who has helped organise the meeting, said: "Whether it is anti-social behaviour, under age drinking or litter, we want to hear people's concerns.
"Only then can we work together with our partners to resolve any problems highlighted."
For more information, contact Ms Knight on 01275 849997.

“Everyone knows who the dealers are in Portishead. I left in 1998 and I was shocked that the same old faces are dealing smack and coke. Why not arrest these guys?”
