Three men are being hunted by police after they raided a Budgens service station on the A38 at Langford.

The men, who wore dark clothing and balaclavas, forced their way through a rear door, threatened staff and made them open tills, before taking a sizeable amount of cash.

Two members of staff were left shocked but unhurt in the incident, which took place just before 4am on Friday.

It is though the men arrived in a dark vehicle that they parked a short distance away, and police now want to talk to anyone who may have seen them or the vehicle.

Police are also linking the crime to a string of burglaries at shops in Winscombe over the same night, from Thursday into Friday

Anyone with information on the incidents can contact Bristol CID on 0845 456 7000, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
