Police trace stolen cars to Hartcliffe
Three stolen cars have been recovered in Hartcliffe by police through a tracking device.
Officers responded to a call at 10.25am yesterday reporting the theft of a BMW X3.
The car was fitted with a tracker which officers traced it using a computer in the police helicopter.
It was found outside an address in Hartcliffe.
Officers discovered a number plate in the back garden that matched up to a stolen Ford Fiesta, which was parked outside along with a stolen BMW 3 Series car.
All three cars, which police said are worth about £100,000 together, were linked to burglaries this month in the Bristol area.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested and remained in police custody last night.
