Police release photo of jumper following sexual assault in Weston-super-Mare
Detectives investigating a sexual assault in Weston-super-Mare at the weekend are re-appealing to the public for information.
At around 6am on Sunday, June 17, a woman was walking along the cycle track between Searle Crescent and Hutton Moor Road when she was sexually assaulted.
Officers investigating this crime have released an image of a jumper in the hope that members of the public may be able to identify who it belongs to.
Detective Inspector Julie Mackay said: "Investigations into this incident remain ongoing and I am keen to identify the owner of a burgundy/red coloured hooded type jumper with yellow writing on the front back and arms. This jumper is quite distinctive and was found near to the scene.

"I would like to speak to the owner of this jumper or to anyone who may know who it belongs to.
"We have increased the police presence in the area and I would remind all members of the public to continue to be vigilant and aware of their own personal safety. Anyone who sees anyone acting suspiciously in the area is asked to call us."
Officers are also keen to speak with a man who is described as white in his early 20s and of large build.
This man is thought to have made his way towards Asda around the time of the incident.
Anyone else who may have any information, particularly those who may have been cycling or jogging in the area at the time are asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
