POLICE are appealing for information after 13 cars had their tyres slashed on housing estates in Weston-super-Mare.

Over the past month there have been more than a dozen incidents in which vehicles have had their tyres attacked in Bloomfield, Butcombe, Cranmore and Drayton on Brompton Road on the Oldmixon Estate.

In a separate incident, on January 12 at around 11.30pm, a grey Renault Megane was set on fire. The car was parked in the Ashcroft Garages area on Brompton Road and the incident is being treated as arson.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call Weston-super-Mare police on 101.
