Police re-issue appeal following crash that left pensioner dead

POLICE are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a crash in Weston-super-Mare in which a woman died.
The accident happened over a month ago, at around 1.30pm on December 10 when a Mercedes lorry and a woman collided as she crossed Nutwell Road in Worle.
The 82-year-old woman died at the scene.

A police spokesman said: "The road was closed at the time while we began an investigation into the collision and our enquiries have continued since.
"We would still like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or has information which might help us with our investigation."
