Bristol police hunt for paedophile missing from the force area
AVON and Somerset police are trying to trace a paedophile who has gone missing from the force area.
A spokeswoman confirmed there was currently one registered sex offender with previous convictions against children who had gone missing but would not release details about their identity or last known whereabouts, although they are believed to have fled abroad.

A national newspaper report suggested that 140 paedophiles had disappeared across the country since signing the sex offenders register.

“Maybe if they did release names *****s would be less likely to go missing. Why should kids be put at risk to protect these kinds of people. If they want to change and work and with authorities there could be an argument to protect their identities but in this case not. Someone reading this might know where they are in which case an innocent child could be saved from having their life ruined. 5 minutes of fun for these people creates people who are damged for life. Shame on you Avon and Somerset.”

“Well if they locked up all murderers, rapists and paedophiles this wouldn't be a problem ... ?”
