Police are searching for a woman from Weston who went missing from a hospital in Devon.

Officers say they are extremely concerned for the welfare of 22-year-old Laura Ashan, pictured above.

She discharged herself from a hospital in Torquay and has possibly headed back to Weston, her home town.

She's described as white, with blonde hair, 5ft 4inl and of slim build.

She was last known to be wearing a light blue jumper, blue jeans and carrying a brown holdall.

Anyone who has seen Laura is asked to call Devon and Cornwall police on 08452 777444, quoting log number 424 110609.
