Police believe absconded murderer Brian Grady could have returned to Bristol
POLICE are appealing for information to track down convicted murderer Brian Grady who absconded from an open prison in Wales yesterday.
Twenty-six-year-old Grady (also known as Brian Revill) was sentenced to at least 11 years in prison at Bristol Crown Court in 2003 after he stabbed Liam Attwell in Canon's Marsh, Bristol.
Mr Atwell, 25, was stabbed in the chest as he tried to intervene in a mobile phone robbery on October 3, 2002. He died in hospital three day later.
Grady failed to return to HMP Prescoed on Monday. He is described as white, 5ft 11ins, of medium build, with short light brown hair and blue eyes. He has a scar under his left eye and speaks with a Bristol accent.
