Police award for 'Love Congresbury' youngsters
Young people in Congresbury have been presented with a police accolade for their work to help improve the village.
The six youngsters, all members of the village youth club, were given the Avon and Somerset Police Young People's Award for their contribution to the community in establishing a "Love Congresbury" weekend.

The youngsters, all aged 13 to 16, are part of the youth council of the youth groups run by St Andrew's Church.
They worked alongside Congresbury Youth Partnership to set up the two-day event.
Activities ranged from painting benches to litter picking to helping residents with the chores they couldn't do themselves.
More than 100 people rolled up their sleeves and got involved.
Police Community Support Officer Yvette Jordan said: "What is so good about the 'Love Congresbury' campaign is that it brought the whole village together and left it looking shiny and sparkling.
"I think that this is a great idea and hope it encourages other villages and young people to get involved."
The Children and Young People's Award was launched by Avon and Somerset Police Authority in 2007 to recognise the exceptional contribution many children and young people make to their communities.
Chief Constable Colin Port said: "It is a great pleasure to hear of the success and hard work of Congresbury Youth Club.
"Avon and Somerset Constabulary is proud to be able to mark their achievement with a high-profile award and hope that this group continues to achieve and that their results inspire others."
