A MAN suspected of raping a woman at Stapleton Road railway station who failed to answer bail has been re-arrested.

Mohammed Sabry Aldeed, 37, of no fixed address, was arrested in relation to an incident on September 16 last year. But he failed to answer bail the following month.

British Transport Police say he was traced to an address in Peterborough where he was re-arrested, and he has now been remanded in custody.
