Police arrest Bristol murder suspect
A man wanted in connection with the suspected murder of a woman in Bristol was arrested by police last night.
Detectives made a public appeal to find Barach Bandavad, 35, after the victim in her 50s died following an assault in Highbury Road, Horfield, around midday yesterday.

Police say Bandavad was found in the Southmead area of the city overnight and was arrested on suspicion of murder.
He is in police custody today where he is due to be questioned.

The scene around the incident remains cordoned off to allow forensic examinations to take place.
Detective Chief Inspector Simon Crisp, who is leading the investigation, said: "This was a tragic and isolated incident in which a woman has needlessly lost her life.
"A scene will remain in place at Highbury Road into Sunday.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank residents in the area their cooperation and patience."
