It has also seen more than 21,000 motorists stopped and 3,000 breathalysed since it started on December 1.
Chief Inspector Polly King, pictured, said: "Our activity has been welcomed by the motorists we have spoken to as part of our stop checks this month.
"They have really understood the importance of the anti-drink drive campaign, which highlights how socially unacceptable drink-driving has become."
The campaign has also seen success in other districts with 14 arrests made in South Gloucestershire, 16 in Bath and North East Somerset, 14 in Somerset East, 31 in Somerset West and 17 in North Somerset.
She added: "We advise that you don't have anything to drink before you get behind the wheel as even a small amount of alcohol can impair your driving ability.
"It is impossible to calculate your drink-driving limit, as it depends upon a number of factors, including your gender and body mass, so please don't try."
Police are urging people to report anyone suspected of drink-driving by calling the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 or the police on 0845 4567000.
