Police are appealing for information on missing man Timothy O'Sullivan.

He was last seen this morning at Redland train station and could still be in the area. He has left without any money or a phone and is considered to be vulnerable due to the state of his health.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare as he is without his medication.

He is 51-years-old, 5ft 8ins tall with a thin build and grey hair. It is not known what he was wearing but it may have been a grey rain jacket and possibly a Bristol Rovers scarf.

Inspector Andrew Gilbert, one of the officers searching for Timothy said: "We are searching for a vulnerable man, who is missing from the Fishponds area of the city. It is possible he may try to buy drinks in licensed premises. He is on foot, and may present as behaving oddly. If anyone has seen him I would urge them to contact us on 999."

Anyone who has seen Timothy since he went missing should contact police on 999 if they know his current whereabouts otherwise use the non-emergency number 101.
