Police appeal after New Year vandal attack at garage
POLICE are appealing for information after a New Year's Eve vandal attack on a town centre garage.
A group of youths were seen on the forecourt of the Shell garage at Cabstand around midnight on December 31.
A glass panel in the door to the shop was kicked in. Police are now checking CCTV footage of the incident to try and identify those responsible.
Portishead Police Sergeant Jim Robinson said: "We believe there were people out in the town at that time of night and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact us on 101."
