Poetic justice at the elections?
Soon it will be time for voting in the local elections and of course people are only concerned about those things which affect them directly.
In this ward here in Bristol East, over the years we have been represented by Liberal Democrats.
Their term in office reminds me of GK Chesterton's poem:
As I was going up a stair
I saw a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away.
Raymond Pearce, St George.
