PUCKLECHURCH Players are celebrating their 30th anniversary with the story of Cinderella.

Written by Paul Reakes, the story follows the fortunes of poor Cinders who has to put up with her cruel stepmother and ugly stepsisters, Mattie and Hattie.

Her home Pantomania is under the rule of the evil Duke of Verruca, as the rightful heir to the throne, Prince Charming, is away travelling the world. When the Prince returns, the Duke devises an evil plan, assisted by his henchmen, Nip and Tuck, to deprive him of the throne.

Pucklechurch Players have a long history of pantomimes.
